Jane Grey

Director & Senior Physiotherapist
APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist, B.App.Sc Physiotherapy, M.A.P.A, M.A.C.P

Jane is Certified in DMA Clinical Pilates which recognises her training worldwide as a therapist experienced in the Movement Based Classification and Treatment, a standardised model for assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. She is also certified to teach the Onero programme for the treatment of osteoporosis.

Jane has been qualified as a physiotherapist for over 30 years and was awarded the Sports Physiotherapist title in 2000. She has had extensive experience working and traveling with a myriad of sports teams from local to national level and 2 ½ years working with professional dancers and performers in London’s West End.

Her main interest lies in analysing and correcting movement dysfunctions to allow clients to move more efficiently and improve performance in any desired pursuit and at any level. She uses manual therapies, dry needling and exercise based rehabilitation including Pilates based exercise.

Jane has been qualified as a physiotherapist for over 30 years and was awarded the Sports Physiotherapist title in 2000.

Jacoba (Coby) Ritman

Senior Physiotherapist
B.App.Sc. Physiotherapy, M.A.P.A

Coby graduated with Distinction from University of Sydney and was awarded the Rosemary E Wilson Memorial Prize. With over 30 years of clinical experience, Coby has worked in NSW, Queensland, S.E. Asia and England.

She has experience in both the public and private sectors. Coby’s treatment philosophy is centred on increasing whole body awareness to assist in how best a client can help themselves and improve their recovery.

She is currently working part time whilst she raises her family.

Megan Yip

Physiotherapist
B.Sc. Sport and Exercise Science, M.Phty. Masters of Physiotherapy

Megan completed her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra, building on her earlier degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University from the UK.

Megan is qualified in dry needling, personal training through NASM and has additional training in clinical Pilates with APPI and sports massage, supported by four years of experience working as a personal trainer. Megan is committed to evidence-based care and enjoys helping clients improve their movement, strength, and confidence.

She brings a strong foundation in exercise prescription and enjoys integrating exercise-based rehabilitation with hands-on treatment to help clients achieve meaningful and long-lasting outcomes.

Fizza Nawaz

Physiotherapist
B.Sc. Doctor of Physical Therapy, M.Sc. Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy

Originally from Pakistan, Fizza completed both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Physiotherapy before moving to Australia to continue her career and embrace new opportunities. She has a strong passion for musculoskeletal care and rehabilitation, supporting her clients to regain movement, strength, and return to the activities they love.

Fizza is a proud member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand (PBNZ), Health & Care Professions Council UK (HCPC), and Pakistan Physiotherapy Association (PPTA).

Outside the clinic, Fizza enjoys experimenting with new recipes, relaxing with a good Netflix series, and spending quality time with her family.

Fizza has a strong passion for musculoskeletal care and rehabilitation, supporting her clients to regain movement, strength, and return to the activities they love.

Des Bahnert

Physiotherapist
B. Physiotherapy (Honours)

Des completed his Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Wollongong before graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (with Distinction) from Charles Sturt University in Orange. Prior to joining the team, he worked in a private sports physiotherapy clinic in Canberra and has experience providing sideline physiotherapy coverage for semi-professional football.

Des enjoys working with a wide range of clients, from athletes returning to sport through to individuals looking to move more comfortably and reduce pain in their everyday lives. His clinical interests include sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, BPPV management and helping people build strength and confidence in the gym. Des enjoys combining hands-on treatment and exercise-based rehabilitation and is accredited in dry needling.

Outside the clinic, Des enjoys staying active through futsal, basketball, tennis, and strength training. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing with his partner and Cat, Nori.

Sharon

Administrator & Reception

Sharon joins Queanbeyan Physiotherapy with a wealth of administration and customer service experience across several industries including advertising, print and hospitality. 

Before learning how to be a medical receptionist here at Queanbeyan Physiotherapy, Sharon ran her own local business for almost 7 years which she really enjoyed. 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, travelling and is involved with a local marching team.

Sharon joins Queanbeyan Physiotherapy with a wealth of administration and customer service experience.

Vanessa joins the Queanbeyan Physiotherapy Team with over 20 years of executive support experience.

Having lived throughout Australia and five years in the United States. This has fuelled her passion for travel and provided the opportunity to see some of the world’s most impressive sites. 

With a keen interest in the health and wellbeing industry, she understands the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
