How to make an appointment

Book online or please phone for an appointment, or if continuing treatment, arrange your next appointment before leaving the practice. We aim to see urgent cases within 24 hours.

Patients may only require one appointment, leaving with some advice on how to prevent or lessen the chance of a recurrence. More serious conditions may require treatment over several weeks. Occasionally patients may be referred to other health professionals.

Fees

Fees are payable at time of consultation and are calculated on guidelines produced by the Australian Physiotherapy Association. In compensable cases, where liability has been accepted, we can bill the insurer directly.

Cancellation Policy

75% of your consultation fee will apply for non attendance or failure to notify the practice within 12 hours of your scheduled appointment time.

Referrals

A referral from a doctor is not necessary for private patients, although many of our patients are referred. In Worker's Compensation, Veteran Affairs or Third Party cases, you will need a referral from a doctor. Please advise us of this when making your first appointment, so we can make appropriate billing arrangements.

Rebates/HICAPS

You may claim a rebate from your private health fund, if you have appropriate cover, via HICAPS. Medicare does not cover private physiotherapy treatment unless you have a specific referral (Enhanced Primary Care/Team Care Arrangement) from your doctor.
